lol watched this (which is still highly relevant to today) then thought about just the general style of their music… hahahh. Check out the mtv interview though - great insight.

Yes.
Ian just informed me our tickets have dispatched, does anyone know why they’re dispatching crazy early this year?!
I’m stupid excited, more excited than I ever have been for Leeds. It hasn’t been an amazing festival since like 2008 anyways, for bands that was definitely my favourite year.
But this year the morning to mid-afternoon sets are what I’m looking forward to, seeing bands for the first time like DFA 1979 who I thought I’d never catch live. New bands I’m digging I’m excited to hear live like Best Coast, Warpaint, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Funeral Party, Title Fight, Sharks.
Bands who I’ve been lucky enough to catch live before and I know will deliver, glassJAw, deftones, new found glory, fucked up, bombay bicycle club, taking back sunday.
Then the ‘kind of a comeback’ sets like the offspring, jimmy eat world, descendants and of course who I’m probably most excited to see Rival Schools. Simply because I missed them at Leeds before.
After typing that I’m a little more excited, didn’t realise it was quite a healthy mix!
The Shape of Punk to Come.
this song reminds me of sitting in my Uni room stoned with Ian and being stupid happy.
Today Ian proposed the most beautiful thing to me.
